High quality African Blackwood blanks with very little or no sapwood included.

The heartwood is very dark brown with dominant black streaks which gives it its almost black appearance. Mainly straight grained and fine textured. Sapwood is narrow and pale cream in colour contrasting with the dark heartwood. This wood is hard and very heavy.
