Iroko dowels

Top quality Iroko dowels produced on the premises with state of art machinery. The Iroko that we use is specially selected from prime kiln dried boards for straight grain to minimise movement. Once the dowels have been machined they are sanded to a quality finish.

Iroko has a medium to coarse texture, with open pores and an interlocked grain. Easy to work, glue and finishes well. The colour is usually a yellow to golden or medium brown tending to darken over time.

Our dowels are machined from single lengths of timber and sanded to a tolerance of +/- 0.4mm
