We can design and manufacture both internal and external hardwood doors to match any type of property for the home, offices and commercial properties. Replacing any style like for like would not be difficult as we can make and match mouldings that may be required for period properties.
We offer a selection of bespoke solid wood doors and frames to suit every type of property. These include internal doors, external doors, bifold doors, garage doors, and entrance doors offering both a modern and traditional style in a wide range of finishes. Using quality products, we ensure that your custom-made door is not only visually stunning, but durable too.
Custom-made interior doors can be manufactured to fit a non-standard opening, to suit an interior design scheme or to recreate a historical period. We can advise on the choice of design features such as the number of panels, mouldings and use of glazing to create interest or additional light. We can also offer advice on the finish required for your internal doors, offering both oiled and painted finishes.
Good design is the key to durability and function of an exterior door. Our team can assess your requirements for the period and style of the property, timber choice, preservation and finish, draught and weather proofing, security measures and door furniture. Doors can be supplied pre-hung into frames with ironmongery installed or supplied loose for installation on site. Our doors can also be fully decorated before delivery or supplied primed for finishing on site.
External Doors
This European Oak curved door and frame was made to fit in a new porch extension to a home in a local village.
The door is 1770mm high, 1060mm wide, and 80mm thick. The boards on the front of the door are 30mm thick with 50mm thick ledged and braced on the back of the door.
The door is finished with Osmo UV Oil. We oil all the internal joints with the specified finish prior to the final assembly to ensure the whole door is sealed and protected against the weather.
From The Anvil Ironmongery was used for the final touches.
This external front door was made with Sapele timber and supplied for a property in Penrith.
It is 57mm thick and made with traditional mortice and tenon joints. It was supplied with a new hardwood frame.
The ironmongery for this was purchased via special order from America.
It was finished with Little Greene Basalt paint and the frame was painted with Little Greene Shirting.
These European Oak sliding doors were manufactured and installed at a local village.
The doors are 3 metres tall, nearly 5 metres wide, and were boarded both sides and insulated in the middle.
The doors were fitted using a specially made door track system ordered from Europe and finished with Osmo UV Oil. All the internal joints were oiled with the specified finish prior to the final assembly to ensure the whole door is sealed and protected against the weather.
This European Oak door with sidelights was installed facing onto a garden in a local village.
The overall size of the door and frame is 2.1 metres high and 1.8 metres wide. The doors are 57mm thick with morticed and tenoned jointsand was glazed n clear, toughened glass

This external front door and screen was made with sapele timber and supplied for a property in a local village.
The complete screen is 4 metres tall and 2 metres wide. The door is 57mm thick and made with traditional mortice and tenon joints. The frame was supplied in 2 parts for delivery to site and then installed by the fitter.
Clear toughened glass was used in the door and the frame.
We used Osmo UV oil on the frame to complete the project

Internal Doors
These doors were made from Tulipwood timber, supplied to a local restoration project.
All the doors supplied are 44mm thick, made with traditional mortice and tenon joints. We also manufactured the doors casings to match all the doors, including the panels all of which had to run through.
All the moulds shown in the image were created in our workshop to match with the existing moulds on site. The average width of each door opening was 2.2 metres x 1.2 metres.
To complete the period look the doors will be finished with Little Greene Clockface paint
These doors are made from European Pippy Oak. We have supplied them for various projects after originally being manufactured for a client in London.
The doors are supplied at 35mm thickness and morticed and tenoned and are made with shaker style panels with no beading. We are also able to manufacture these to incorporate both clear and obscure glass. These doors can be made to any size.
We recommend using Treatex oil as finishing product on these doors.
These doors are made from European Oak and were supplied for a house in West Cumbria to match some existing doors in the property.
The doors are supplied at 35mm thickness, morticed and tenoned, and made with shaker style panels with no beading. These doors can be made to any size.

Made from carefully selected PEFC certified character grade oak boards. The vertical boards are of random width, tongue and grooved with a beaded profile to the front. It is strengthened with 30mm thick x 145mm wide ledges and 30mm x 127mm braces. The ledge and braces have beveled edges giving a final touch of quality. These doors are constructed for stability and strength over years of use.
The boards are glued and screwed through the ledges and braces so there are no fixings showing on the face side of the door. The screw heads are hidden with oak plugs making a fine finish on both sides of the door. The ledges stop 25mm short of the door edge so they don’t foul the doorstop.
All doors are made to order so if our option sizes don't suit your doorframes simply let us have the sizes required. Our internal doors are supplied unfinished so the desired finish can be applied when hung (we suggest Osmo or Treatex Hardwax Oil).
We can supply doorframes, skirting and architrave to match our doors.
