Size variations
Our sawn carving blanks are cut directly from the kiln-dried boards we receive from our supplier. The thickness of these boards can vary slightly due to natural variations in the wood and the drying process.
The thickness advertised is a nominal size and the actual thickness can vary by up to +/- 3mm. In most cases the actual thickness will be within 1mm of the advertised size.

European Lime, Tilia vulgaris

All Lime listed has been kiln dried. This is exceptional quality lime. Lime is a yellowish white colour, it is easy to work with machinery or hand tools and ideally suited for carving and model making. Stains and finishes well. The square and Rectangles have been listed separately because there are so many options. Some may have a variation in thickness.
