G&S Specialist Timber Tools & Machinery supply a wide selection of timber products and associated accessories, as well as bespoke woodworking services, to the film and tv industry. From their roots as a family-run woodturning workshop, 20 years on, G&S now offers over 30,000 individual products via their large retail store and website.
We supply hardwood timbers, construction timbers, Sheet materials (standard and fire-proof), timber mouldings and the widest range of dowels in the UK, all manufactured on-site. We also offer a full bespoke service on our timber products, specially tailored to suit to the film and TV industry. With our bespoke joinery services, mouldings and cut to length products allowing us to cater to all requirements, as well as build a varied, expertly crafted collection of off-the-shelf products. In addition, we have a CNC woodturning lathe which can turn up to 3.7m, meaning we can craft bespoke spears and lances to suit the period in which the production is based.
From our Cumbria-based workshop, we offer next day delivery on standard products, and same day delivery where possible. Having once supplied 5000 bespoke arrow shafts in 4 hours for a production, here at G&S, anything is possible.
