The DVR or Digital Variable Reluctance is a switch reluctance motor with a unique electronic control. The electronic control utilizes a microprocessor for constant monitoring of the motor and environmental conditions to adjust power to suit your needs. It includes an unmatched 50-5500rpm variable speed range, 18" swing, 9" from spindle center to column. 6" Quill stroke, 2MT Quill Taper, Mechanical depth stop, Digital Quill Depth readout, digital speed readout and control, Dial Knob for precise speed adjustment, forward and reverse, and 16 1/2"x 16 1/2" cast iron table. Intelligent speed selection, Auto pilot hole function, tapping-assist function, electronic braking, load readout and self-start. The onboard sensors provide superior safety, use and maintenance include load sensors, depth sensors, vibration sensor, emergency stops. Using the unique DVR technology, the direct drive motor is incredibly smooth with no pulleys or belts to vibrate.
