Apprentice Wood Machinist

 

Are you passionate about woodworking and eager to kickstart your career in the field of wood machining? We are a well-established and reputable woodworking company committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and innovative solutions to our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learn and operate a variety of wood machining equipment, including moulders, saws, planers and spindle moulder.

2. Assist in the preparation and selection of wood materials for machining processes.

3. Collaborate with experienced wood machinists to produce precision components according to project specifications.

4. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

5. Maintain and clean machinery regularly to uphold performance standards.

Training and Development: You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training from our skilled professionals, providing you with the knowledge, and hands-on experience necessary to become a proficient wood machinist. Additionally, you would be required to attend college to gain qualifications in this role.

Timber Production Worker:


As a Timber Production Worker, you will be an integral part of our production team, contributing to the creation of top-notch timber products. Your role will involve working with various woodworking tools and machinery to transform raw timber into finished goods. If you have a passion for working with wood, an eye for detail, and are keen to learn skills to operate woodworking equipment, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery, cutting and processing raw timber

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workshop.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Timber Production Worker or similar role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Keen to learn
